A morning email with your overdue and upcoming tasks

Brick emails you your own open tasks at 7am, so the day starts with a list you did not have to go looking for. It is on by default and there is nothing to set up.

What is in it#

Three sections, in the order you need them: Overdue, Due today, and Upcoming, which is anything due in the next seven days.

Only tasks assigned to you, only tasks still open, and only tasks with a due date. A task with no due date is not a plan for today, so it never appears; neither does anything you have already completed.

The email opens with your name and the same counts, then a View all tasks button. Each task is its own card: the first line of the task, its due date, and the contact or deal it is attached to, linked straight to that record. An overdue date is red. A section stops at ten tasks and tells you how many more there are.

The subject line carries the date and the counts, so you can triage it from the notification without opening it: 31 Aug → 1 task overdue, 1 task due today and 1 task coming up. Only the sections that have something in them appear, in the subject and in the email.

Daily, weekly, or off#

Settings → Notifications has an Email digest section with three choices: Daily, Weekly (Monday morning) and Off. Daily is the default.

Turning it off is that setting, not an unsubscribe link buried in a footer, so it is in the same place when you want it back.

One thing worth knowing: every send is 7am Eastern, whatever time zone you are in. Per-realtor time zones are not built yet.
